Brown County High School Wrestling

This Saturday the Brown County Grapplers will head to Monrovia for the annual 6-way invite. Participating schools are as follows:

Cascade
South Putnam
North Putnam
Speedway
Monrovia
Brown County

Wrestling will get underway at 9:30. Weigh-ins are scheduled to begin at 8:30. Please check with Coach Bruner on required time to meet at school and the subsequent bus departure time.

Drink cooler will be provided. Looking for volunteers to send bananas, gogurts and pbj's.

The Batesville 6-way will start at 9:00 a. m. at the Batesville High School. Coach Bruner will inform the wrestlers of what time they should arrive BCHS for weigh-ins and subsequent bus departure.

See below information regarding food and other suggestions for your wrestler.
Richey's - Bananas
Wall's - PBJs
Coffey's - Banana & Pumpkin Bread
Wojdyla's - Breakfast Casserole

The above will not cover the food needs of your wrestler for the entire day. You may wish to send a small cooler with lunchmeat sandwich, yogurt or otherwise. You can also send money for concession food - Batesville HS has a pretty decent concession stand.

If you are not specifically listed for this tournament with regard to food pitch-in, you will most likely be contacted for a future date. (Next meet is Saturday, November 24th at Bloomington North). The requests pretty much stay the same. However, you are welcome to make any suggestions or changes that you like.

On Thursday, November 15th - wrestling pictures will be taken. Report to practice as usual where Coach Bruner will give you further instructions.

BCHS Winter Sports meeting will be conducted at the BCHS Cafeteria on Wednesday, November 7th at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Garman, Athletic Director, will give the overall policies and procedures for the athletic dept. Afterwards he then passes off to each coach to conduct a meeting with their group of parents.

You can expect to hear information regarding details of lettering in the sport of wrestling, conduct, required clothing while traveling to meets, details on food/beverage as it relates, info on the wrestling blog/website, a schedule, and an order sheet for sweatshirts/t-shirts.
